    Funny, that's my reaction to spiders too! I can stand any other bug or even snakes; but spiders . . . . ughhhh!

    The legs that a spider keeps them safe from sprays, About the only way to keep the population down is plant stuff they hate or have a flock of sea-gales [birds] or have a lot of frogs and snakes. I'm like you going buzeark if a spider gets on me.

    I've seen a lot of homeless hobos nesting in my lawn and surrounding areas this year. I sprayed the window wells and then the lawn with Bug-B-Gone. It is about $10 at your favorite spider killing store. Even poor old me splurged on it. :-)
