I really wanted to see this. its to bad that i couldn't. congratulations to
the young man for his success.
Great that he could do it, but this is far from newsworthy.'Feel good' reporting doesn't so anything for society. It is
just a fill in to avoid the real life issues.
@100%TruePatriotIf you had to deal with raising a severely handicapped
like my wife and I do, it becomes very "news worthy".You can count
your lucky stars now. I hope that makes you "feel good".
@100%TruePAtriotThere are plenty of Good Things in the world that
are left unreported because the news seem to like to report the same junk over
and over again.I am sorry but I don't need an up to the minute
update with all the horrible things that are happening in the world. This is an awesome story and I am sure there are many of people that have had
to deal with this issue.
I actually like these "feel good" stories being put in with the news to
help offset all the negativity that usually is emphasized in the news. Yes,
there is bad stuff going on in the world, and yes there are bigger news stories
than this. But it is nice to hear these little tidbits of good things in the
world too. Congrats to him and good luck in his College education.
