Probably Wilson as an offensive captain. Wasn't it right after the Tim
McGraw concert that Whitt said TW was a real leader?
Re: Christine B. HedgefogNo, it was when he beat BYU in Provo.
BYU's QB had 30 incompletions in that game.
@ HedgefogKids make mistakes. It Doesn't mean they aren't
or can't be great leaders. Ever heard of a guy named Kyle Van Noy?.....
I'm sorry, I just think there's something lacking about Wilson as the
leader. The image of a beer drinking minor as a team leader and the
QB of the Utes just doesn't resonate well.
Christine, for some strange reason the Tim McGraw concert thing has bothered BYU
fans more and continues to so. It's a big nothing to Utah fans and has
been filed under "who cares?".

@Uncle RicoSince when does Taysom's performance have any effect
on Travis being a leader? I think that might be the most unrelated answer I have
ever seen to any question.
Two fliches,From a BYU fanChristine B, in my opinion
made a crazy comment, especially in light of BYU's Jamal Williams having
made the exact same choice a few months earlier. I hold Jamal Williams to a
higher standard because he agreed to a higher standard. Both of
these young men owned up to the bad choices and I have no problem embracing them
for being MEN . Jamal paid a higher price because of his willful violation of
BYU's honor code and I support the suspension. You said,
"Kids make mistakes" and I agree they do but let's not mistake (pun
intended) a choice and call it a mistake. Again, in my opinion, it lessens the
accountability required for bad choices. I like the captains 10CC
listed and wish them success this year.
@ G-Day-M8I agree. Good post.
