Thank you, Carmen, for this article.While I've never had
clinical depression, bipolar disorder, or anything similar, I have witnessed
such things in others along with the psychological and emotional trauma that
mental illness can bring on families when not properly treated. It is best to
get such things treated.
Thank you, I suffer from bipolar. It is much more difficult than many
people realize. I guess you would almost have to experience how it is to know.
It can be like being in a snowstorm when you can not see in front of you. You
know where you want to go, but you can not see the pathway! I think the hardest
times are those when there is nothing wrong, yet the feeling of hopelessness is
still there. I have seen it destroy some wonderful people! Thank you for your
awareness and for helping others know that it is something that we should all
think about. It makes the battle a little easier.
