While I admit I do enjoy a simple CTR ring and a few other "LDS"
products, and I understand vocal and visual artists need to make a living, I
still feel a little uncomfortable with the heavy marketing of LDS stuff. It
gets to be distracting to listen to a beautiful talk given by a General
Authority and knowing an especially meaningful and well constructed thought is
going to end up framed (or silk screened onto an apron) - with a price tag on it
- in a store nearby. It just doesn't seem right. I don't
know where to draw the line, but I would guess moderation would be the best bet.
