The task force has, in my opinion, proven to be completely ineffective.
It's time for the Governor to push this into legislation. Utahns are dying,
and it's time to put a stop to it.
The debate around Medicaid expansion in Utah is a tragic example of political
extremism taking precedent over doing what is right for the people of Utah. The
task force and the legislature need to set aside their ideological opposition to
the ACA and save lives.
This is just one more excuse for Utah Republicans to block health care to the
working poor. Those who do not work already have Medicaid and these people do
not earn enough for the ACA and are in a gap. These hard workers are left to
fend for themselves and die at the hands of the Utah Government. We do not need
a Utah plan, Medicaid is already set up and we do not need to give money to
insurance companies. This 10th circuit court of appeals failed 5th grade
English. “enrolled through an Exchange established by the State.”
The word "State" in this phrase is singular and Capitalized so it means
Government. We have a Secretary of State and that is of all, had this passage
meant only the States then DC and US Possessions would not be included. Had the
law intended it to be only the States it would have put an "s" at the
end of State and in the singular manner which State?
This is shameful that our Governor can not lead this battle. He should be a
leader and not a politician.
what a mess Obamacare has created.I am glad we did not rush into
medicaid expansion.Read the article about the mess Oregon has
created with expansion - people are STILL denied access to health care.Funny how some blame conservatives in this state because BO and the dems
passed a horribly flawed bill that the majority of US citizens opposed then AND
