    This pick demonstrates growing respect for USU and, seems about right. USU enjoys high expectations, but is still the underdog. Good position to be in. In Chuckie (and really good defense) We Trust.

    This is not a demonstration of how good USU is, but of how weak this division is. USU's schedule is about as weak as you can get, with the only real test at BSU, which makes it easier to rank them higher. Wyoming may be a big surprise with that amazing coach staff coming in. This conference is still BSU and everyone else with only a few teams having a very good year now and then. It's a BSU/FSU conference to lose. They are head over heels better than the rest in this conference, even with BSU taking a big drop off. ++++

    I would've thought USU would be picked number 1 seeing as how they aren't only the best team in the WAC 2.0 but clearly the best team in the country. They also have to best QB in the country even though he only plays 3-4 games a year then watches his dreams get dashed from the bench. Why isn't the best team and best QB in the nation ranked number 1 in the WAC 2.0?

    It is clear that Stang0 is an ardent USU fan…how else could you explain his posting on every USU Aggie football article? Great to have your support, Stang0. The Aggies are going to be an exciting team to follow this year.

    @striker,
    You are right, the Aggies are not at the level of USC, Alabama, or other p5 nationally recognized programs. But they are considered a threat to win their conference. Would you dump on Harvard because they were picked to be second in the Ivy? USU is competitive, in their conference (something that can't be said for the Utes), for the first time in decades and that is what has everyone in Logan excited. You are the only person who seems to feel BSU and Fresno are "head over heels" better than USU. Did you read the total votes cast? A narrow margin above USU.

    Being picked second seems about right. I don't personally believe Boise will be any better than last year, but they have been by far the most consistent team in the conference year in and year out. As such, it makes sense to pick them for first in the division until someone topples them.

    I love our chances though if Keeton can stay healthy. Heck, Garretson will be improved if catastrophe strikes again... and I still like our chances if that happens.

    Go Ags!! Win the Mountain West!

    @tinplater

    There are plenty of explanations for why I comment. None of which you'd understand. But I assure you I'm not a fan.

    @Stang0...not a fan? If you say so it must be true. I'm feeling really good about this whole situation.

    @tinplater

    Let's be clear. I'm not a fan of USU. SUU and other real football team's and conferences yes but USU no.

    The excitement for Aggie football has been great. Lets keep the momentum going. Keep being competitive in the MWC. This is what be pay to see. Contrary to what many believe you can be a fan of football and a fan of a football team without playing in a BCS conference. In the end it is all about entertainment and I have gotten my money worth and more with Aggie football.
