I like the concept. It keeps a defense from setting up and someone will have an
open shot. My guess is that their scoring average will pick up significantly
when they're not confining themselves to pounding the ball to low block and
standing around waiting for the forward court players to make a basket. It also
makes it difficult to "game plan" around one or two players.
Play with a pass also requires trust & faith in all 5 players on the
court...when you have wide open players they need to get the ball and be trusted
to shoot it well. Wonder what 12 players will make the final roster.
Love the philosophy, should make for a fun and interesting year.
