Fantastic! BYU-I young people are the best!
This is neat-o and lots of blessings for them and everyone who could hear their
There is still plenty of clean up going on today. There is a neat spirit around
Rexburg with all those who are willing to help. This video is just one example.
This is a great place to live.
That's great that they did service and all but the singing is just a bit
too much for me though, haha. Kind of makes me cringe a little. What I'm
really worried about is the state of Original Thai. Do you know if it suffered
any major damages?
So many service oriented hymns that I love more than that one. WHY
is it the default? I swear, it is sung as the opening hymn in PH Mtg 50% of the
time. So many good ones to choose from, why are we so musically illiterate?
J-TX,I'm sure your PH leaders would love someone to take on the
responsibility of music director for Priesthood meeting. Since you would like
to sing other songs, it would be a perfect fit for you to volunteer. Then you
could sing whatever you liked instead of complaining about it.
Judge much, amagnetick? I have held every possible music position,
but currently teach Gospel Doctrine, thank you. When I was Ward Music Chair,
twice a year I would teach the youth to conduct music, as they are asked to lead
it in PH and YW. What it comes down to are parents who do not use the hymns in
the home. Personally, I think the GAs should recommend having a hymn at the
beginning of family scripture study every day. They are so readily available,
everyone can have them on their mobile device.
This is so heart-warming to see and hear! My son is in this video and it took
me a bit to find him...he helped out into the evening and that's what it
means to be LDS! Serving others! It brought tears to my eyes!
