    Firstly -- in the "for what its worth pile" -- all images in the above photos show a beautiful, lovely woman.

    2ndly, -- while I agree with the idea that sometimes people obsess over unrealistic or false body standards, I'm concerned that we don't go to far the other way. In a society where half of us are, medically speaking, obese or overweight, it makes sense to be concerned -- even "obsessed" -- with healing ourselves and adhering to LEGITIMATE standards. We won't all look like Arnie Schwartzneger (sp?), nor should we. But there are medically legitimate standards of body composition in context of weight/height, etc., and we should strive for these. I'm fine with everyone feeling good about themselves; but let's not throw the baby out with the bath -- it's ok to "feel good" about getting better -- physically and otherwise.
