Someone needs to tell folks that the Jazz cannot trade Gordon Hayward for anyone until after July 1 so he is not an option to move up in the draft. He is not under contract for the Jazz, we simply have the rights to match an offer.

Could the jazz agree to agree on trading Hayward?

There is a good rumor that the Jazz are going after Parker by dangling Favors and the number 5 pick. I believe that Hayward could be traded before July 1 by using a "sign and trade". It will be interesting. I believe that the top 2 will change hands for a package of players. There is also the maneuvering over Kevin Love and the Warriors. The latest is that Klay Thompson will go to the Lakers for their number 7 and others and then repackaged for Love. The Jazz could even get involved. The father of Thompson, Mychal, who is a former NBA player says that a deal is already done. This could set off the dominos.

With the fifth pick, "the Jazz could get one of a half dozen players". REALLY? Wow.

Someone needs to tell folks making comments that Mike Sorensen is not on staff with the Jazz and knows no more about what they will do than the rest of us. I'll bet the Jazz front office already knows Hayward's status.

A big problem that the Jazz have had is keeping a franchise guy in Utah. I am a huge Duke fan and a huge Jabari fan.The Jazz cannot afford take a high level talent that has committed long-term to the Jazz, like Favors, and offer him up in a trade. Who are you taking to the prom? The Jazz didn't win one game last year without him in the game. With the right coaching he will be a defensive beast 20-point 10-rebound all-star. The Jazz need perimeter players that can score to open up the inside for Favors. Trade down and grab McBuckets!

Draft Gordon at 5 and the package 23 and 35 to pickup Kyle Anderson that way the get the best athlete and the most versatile players in the draft.

The "problem" with rumors is that when it comes to the Jazz, if we hear about them they rarely come true.

Lest we all forget that last year no one had an inkling the Jazz would be able to move up in the draft and snag Trey Burke. When it comes to the Jazz and what they plan on doing, "mum" is the word. Or, the more common, "We'll take the best athlete available."

Sad to see the Jazz thinking that their PF Favors is expendable, he plays defense while the others read about it in the paper. Seems as though they are again prepared to only speak defense and not play it. Parker is questionable in his defense.

I guess that the Jazz love for bigs will net them Embiid if he is available at the 5th pick, and they have not moved from that pick by then.

Draft Gordon at 5 and then take the best shooters available with the other two picks.

I say trade down. The super bunch at the top did not win like they should have in college. Why will they do more in the NBA?

My money says a lot of conversation is going on with Houston. Houston seems to be ready to sell their soul for James so help them out.

Now that Anthony has hit the market, where does he want to go?
