Dream Big, Think Big.
His dream is a blessing to Utah's children of all ages. As our children
grew up took them to aquariums on the coast. Now I can take their children
several times a year. Thank you for never giving up.
"The person who says it can't be done is often passed up by someone
doing it." Way to follow your dreams, Mr Anderson. They have certainly
blessed Utah, and will do so for years to come. Thank You.
Andersen deserves a huge amount of credit. He faced immense skepticism and
discouragement from many people for at least a decade. He's an outstanding
example of committed entrepreneurship. Persistence and dedication do work. I remember following this 10 years ago, and hearing a lot of comments
like: 'Why does Utah need an aquarium', 'This is just not
affordable', or 'This is unrealistic, a fantasy' from a lot of
prominent voices. Met a lady last week in our hotel in Anaheim who
has a friend who had known Andersen well, and she talked all about all that he
had to work through and endure for so long to make his dream real. It's an
inspiring story about persisting despite set-backs and discouragement. How wonderful it is to have an aquarium in Utah!
WELL DONE!!Sir...I enjoy anything to do with the ocean and this beautiful
earth..most of my children live in Utah and I can't wait to visit and see
this most beautiful salute to the beauty around us. I visited the Houston, Tx
zoo growing up and remember vibrantly my MOST favorite parts had to do with the
rain forest, sea, etc...What a gift to us all...
