The New York Times is sexist? I doubt it. Perhaps she was a difficult person
to work with.
This column is laden with broad generalizations about men and women. In the
interest of balance, let me add one of my own. Had it been a man who was fired
as managing editor of the Times, there wouldn’t be this kind of fuss being
made about it.Ladies, men get fired from jobs too. It’s
happened to me. I was doing my job well but got on the wrong side of the boss.
The revolving door is the ever present reality in the workplace. If women are to
be equal with men, they’re going to have to learn to take all that comes
Let's be very clear here. A bad boss is a bad boss is a bad boss. Gender
has nothing to do with it. I have had both male and female bosses in my career,
and the ones I would not go back to were some of the men. But that does not
mean there aren't bad female bosses; my wife could tell you stories.Let's not get wrapped up in the gender issue here. Sometimes
someone just doesn't fit in the position they are in. Male or female
doesn't matter. Race doesn't matter. Let's look past labels;
isn't that what the feminists were asking for in the first place?
She deserved to get fired....the NYT is less and less relevant everyday and has
been fading away under her leadership.....good riddance She-Boss!
I guess TRUTH will now not read the NYT under new leadership.
