What an incredible story! Love hearing about great performances by the local kids. She sounds like she has the dedication and talent to get all the way to the Olympics one day.

I have met her several times. She is a great person as well as a great athlete.

This young lady is awesome. One of my daughters was a strong middle distance runner as a freshman at Thousand Oaks (CA) High School. Marion Jones was on the same squad and ran 11.87 in the 100M and close to (or slightly below) 24 in the 200M. Jones at that time was very centered and humble. She was respectful and inspiring to the varsity freshmen.

Kaysha Love is on the verge of a Marion Jones type of world class athlete career. The multiple sport thing is also relevant. Many fans are unaware that Marion went to UNC and focused on basketball for a few years before her sad Olympic gold medal meltdown played out.
