Maybe you should be thanking Judge Shelby. He is drawing every gay rights supporter to follow (and comment) on what is going on with the Same Sex Marriage debate in Utah.

When the rival local paper only publishes articles on same sex marriages, how much they hate religion, and how much a god barack is to them; then recycle the same story year after year. It's no wonder that paper is falling to bits and pieces. People get tired of the hate speech and endless debates with no data to back up an argument.

The deseretnews has changed a lot from where it was a decade ago. They have stories, research and a diverse range of news. They keep their tone and language positive.

Obviously, the Deseret News is doing something right.
The numbers speak for themselves and aren't just a matter of opinion.
I enjoy both the articles in general as well as the format of participation.

Most of us come to Deseret News because they are one of the few Newspapers that has a focus on family values and uplifting society building stories. Bravo.

Congratulations. I believe there is plenty of money to be made providing a news service to the community. The Dersert News understands their audience and obviously does a good job reaching them. Hopefully, newspapers will continue to reinvent themselves and remain vital into the future.
