Can't wait until they are all back...Big MAC will once again be filled time and time again...What a special group of young men that own far more than their basketball skills.

Since very few of them will go Professional and the ones that do won't be there very long I am happy to see they are investing in a real future by serving missions now.

Since many of them are very likely to play in multiple NCAA tournaments, I'm glad to see them getting their feet planted on solid ground.

But, Lovely Desert, it did occur to me that speaking Russian or Italian may benefit them later in life.

Kind of amazing to me that BYU coaches can deal with missions. Opponents complain about BYU's age and experience factor, but these guys aren't working out on some secret hoops or football training school, a la sniper school or something.

They're pounding the pavement, learning a new language (Russian, Swahili, Tagalog, ...), eating weird stuff, getting diarrhea or worse.

Hats off to them and to the BYU coaches. Other coaches complain, but how many would let their players spend two years in the Peace Corps or equivalent? That's easy: none would.

I didn't graduate from BYU, but I've gained a lot of respect over the last 20 years. Here's to you, BYU. I'm impressed.
