this article is incomplete - it says we are sending $4 million a month to other
states - OK, that cost will be there thanks to Obamacare regardless of anything
we do. The article does not say how much expanding medicaid will
cost going forward. Yeah, our cost will be subsidized at first, then we will
have to pay for it. How much will that be? NOTHING in the article about
that.So we can keep paying our $4 million and leave it at that, OR,
we can pay our $4 million and spend another $15 million. I'll stick with
the former, thanks
We could be the first state to put in place a single payer health care system.
Get rid of the concept of insurance, close the gap, and get the entire process
out of the hands and off of the backs of employers.
Too bad democrats have spent all that money moving people from their private
insurance into government exchanges. If they would just cancel that mess, the 4
Million a month we are bleeding into Obamacare could give a lot of good health
care to the poor.

The problem is... if some people have to pay ANYTHING for their healthcare...
it's not worth it... so they say they can't afford it.People need to get serious about what they can/can't afford. If you can afford cigarettes... you can afford to pay for health insurance.
It costs much less. You can get a single person policy for $100/month.If you can afford cable TV and a cell phone... you can afford health
insurance. It's just a matter priorities. Most people pay over
$200/month for Comcast, and over $75/month for a cell phone. Many of
the people who say they can't afford health insurance... either don't
know because they haven't checked.... or it's just not a priority for
them.People who REALLY can't afford health insurance... qualify
for Government assisted health insurance.
It has been estimated that anywhere from 100 to 300 "extra" deaths will
be due to Utah not taking its medicaid allotment under the ACA. Now who is
going to own up and take responsibility for these deaths. Speaker Lockhart
