One of their players said in an interview after they game they can beat anybody.

We'll see if UConn agrees with that statement

    Utah women's basketball: 12-19 (4-14 Pac-12). Enough said.

BYU's men's and women's teams were both invited to the Big Dance and BYU's women are only the third 12th or lower seed in NCAA women's basketball history to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.

Bottom line, both BYU's men and BYU's women have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen since the last time the Utes made any noise during March Madness.

Slap another PAC 12 sticker on something if it helps you feel better.

If not for the success of BYU, and carrying them along,--Utah would never had been considered by the PAC 12. Period!

Great for the lady Cougars! They are inspiring.
John Wooden of course loved to win, and did, but his teaching that giving your all, maximizing your potential in sports competition is right on. All I hope is that the lady Cougars will give it their very best effort, then win or lose to UConn, it will be okay. I do think anyone can be beaten on any given night, go Cougars!
