I wish him the best!A change of Parties might be good! The
Republicans seem to be too corrupt for their own good, and our good.I wish Dee Smith would have been appointed by Gov. Herbert. Smith was
defeated by Swallow in an election full of fraud. Under those circumstances,
I'd feel better about Reyes running again for office. He too was defrauded
by Swallow in the primary period.
Will he defend the laws passed in Utah? Would he defend the State in current or
future legal battles protecting the definition of marriage, etc? Too many
states have passed laws and found they have to live with a Democrat as AG who
refuses. Answers need to prevail before rhetoric. Where does he or other
candidates stand on the real issues?
After the last two AG's, a change would seem in order.
I have a concern, "Stormont manages his family's 6,000-acre farm and
ranch in Texas." Would we get a full-time AG or a part-time AG
and part-time cowboy? I think there is a real possibility of
conflict of interests and extended time away from the office to manage the
ranch. Travel costs would seem a bit much on the AG's salary and what if
he accepts "rides" in private planes where all kinds of
"business" is discussed?I suggest he decide which horse to
ride off on into the sunset and not attempt to ride both.
