Congrats to Utah State on a great win today. Congrats to Utah as well. I was
sad to see so much glee in BYU's loss to the Zags last night. I looked up
Utah's SOS and just to set the record straight:D1 Games (18-8) SOS
Rank #99 RPI 82.......BYU was 22-11 with SOS Rank #38 w/ RPI 31Non Conf
D1 Games: (9-1) SOS Rank #341 RPI 113....BYU was 7-5 with SOS Rank #7 w/RPI
35No real comparison in terms of schedule. I'm also tired of hearing
about the WCC being a weak basketball conference. The gift came to
Utah in terms of Pac 12.The MWC was horrible to BYU and shafted them when
they went to the WAC.WCC was all that was left. Still a good conference.
Very good. Not anti-UT. Just facts. All in all, disappointing
seasons for all of the schools, except Weber State who will be dancing, albeit
against a #1 seed most likely!
No argument that the Ags have had a rough year adjusting to the play of the MWC.
But to the players credit they haven't given up on themselves and
haven't quit. Great comeback win for the Aggies. Tough draw their next
game, but Ag fans can be confident they will not lay down. Not a great year
record wise, but hey I am still proud of these Aggies. Congratulations to the
Utes for winning today, that was a good win. Too bad about the Cougs, it is too
bad a team as talented as they are may miss out on the NCAAs.
Congrats to the Aggies & Utes for their first round wins. Hope to see more.
Sad for Collinsworth and BYU. As a Cougar fan, I'm hoping we get in, but
I don't think we have a shot of doing much damage.
@IA CougarFirst of all, this is a Utah State article. However, since you
went there, I have a stat: 81 to 64.
Wcc fans shouldn't be commenting. Their chance at dancing is
over. Best of luck to Utah and Utah state and uvu.
@ Chris BYou obviously don't know anything about college
basketball. Stick to your day job if you have one.Congrats to the
Aggies for the victory from behind. It has been a tough year for you guys.
It will be an interesting year if only Weber and UVU go to the big dance out of
the state of Utah.
