Wacky 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman' makes history fun

    This is based on the olde (1950s-60s), perhaps ancient to some, characters which were part of "Rocky the Flying Squirrel and his Friends." That show was filled with humor, satire, adventure, and positive role models. And, with "Mr. Peabody and his Wayback machine" they even snuck in a fair amount of history, albeit usually with an exceptionally bad pun involved.

    While not as slick as today's computer generated graphics, it sure entertained a lot of folks back then. Pickup a copy of the DVD version and share some fun with your kids or grandkids!

    And, that show indeed was the inspiration for the "Rocket J. Squirrel" nickname used by some for our former mayor.
