Does everything have to come back to "faith"?
yes, yes it does
I thought that Matthew McConaugheys thanks to God was indeed very brave
considering that today, much of religion is seen as the enemy of the progressive
left, especially that eminating from the Hollywood crowd. He didn't say
Jesus Christ, but my assumption is that he is Christian as he was born
Methodist, and is said to possibly be a practicing Catholic today.
Everything returns to faith. Faith is the one thing in life that underlines and
influences absolutely everything you do, and is the only permanant and constant
guiding rod for your thoughts and self-reflection. Even your family growing up
is something you eventually leave behind as you go on to either be alone or make
your own family; faith, whether strong, weak, or present at all, whether one
recognizes it or not, is what everything comes back to in the end.
Do Mormons clap in church when they are speaking about God? No response is what
you will get! It seems to me that somebody who probably would show reverence by
remaining silent, would expect others to applaud!I don't know, but I
am a little tired of the self righteousness that seems to permeate the air these
days. You can believe that a great many people in Hollywood have beliefs in God!
You don't need to be so insulting. Why do people spend so much time up on
their high horses looking down and passing judgment on so many others?
Christians haven't done so well themselves. Never have I felt so much hate
coming from them! They certainly have not been the loving people they pretend to
be. Maybe they need to take some time to look at themselves a little. They speak
about God all the time, but their actions are not so Christ like!
