What team can't use shooting? Always nice to have some shooting coming off
the bench. For a playoff bound team though, I could understand the hesitancy
given Jimmer's lack of defensive skill set.
Amen brother! Jimmer's freed! No Lakers though, I want to still like
I agree completely. Jimmer is the only reason I have for paying attention to
the NBA. Being able to watch Jimmer without having to watch the Kings would be
just great (not that I get to watch much of any US sports down under). I just
hope he makes it onto a team where he is put in a position to do what he does
best - score points. Even if that team is the Lakers, which would be a little
tough to stomach. But the Lakers are definitely struggling right now, so it
might present a good opportunity.
This is all good news. Jimmer will be free... Jimmer will play for a team where
the players actually want and know how to win games... which means they will
pass him the ball. And I will not have to pay attention to the Kings anymore.
I have already deleted Kings from my sports updates list..... Yeah for
I'm hoping he'll land on a team where he can contribute. My guess is
that someone will pick him up this year to finish out the season, and he'll
end up on a different team next year.
Very good article. Let me start by saying even though we had Linsanity, I would
very much hope if Jimmer went to the Rockets, which I hope he does not, that he
would play ahead of Jeremy Lin, we are comparing apples to oranges here when
talking about the 2 of them and that's been the issue with Jimmer all
along, no one even knows yet what he's capable of. 3 year's in
Sacramento, 3 different Coaches and never a chance to prove himself! Had
Westphal stayed Jimmer may be an All Star by now! I have been confused so many
times watching the Kings. I mean when Jimmer plays, he has an impact, he leads
the team. Even in the Knicks game, you could clearly see how much better the
Kings were with Jimmer running the point, as soon as Isiah came in and Jimmer
moved to the 2, the game changed flow and the Kincks came back. It was SO
evident, both in the 2nd and 4th quarters. I cannot wait to see Jimmer leave the
Kings, mostly so he can torch them when he plays them!
I don't care where Jimmer plays I'd follow him. What a class act in a
classless sport. I'd even love to follow him in Europe. Needless to say,
I'm a Jimmer fan and always will be.
Best team for Jimmer hands down is BYU. There he can stretch the floor, have no
restrictions on how many shots he takes, he can also play a lot of minutes and
contribute immediately. As for any other NBA team, he isn't quick enough
to play D, can't create separation for his own shot, his ball-handling
skills are lacking, and he is too small for the 2 guard. Jimmer is
a good kid and a great role model. I hope that he finds a team where he can
work his magic like Alex Smith did at Kansas City after having his talents lost
at San Fran for a number of years. GO UTES!!BTW, this
article was absolutely hilarious.
WookieI see you'e still smarting from that 47-point beat down
Jimmer laid on the Utes in his final visit to the HC.It's
hilarious how the BYU haters are forced to remember how badly Jimmer owned U
every time another Jimmer article is posted.
Mussing with U. I think that Jimmer is one of the purest shooters
out there, his stats don't lie. However, and I am only quoting with
experts are saying about Jimmer and having a little fun in the process. I like
Jimmer and truly wish him well and that he will blossom on a different team that
isn't so disfunctional as the Kings. GO UTES!!
Utah Jazz - Jimmer will not be an all-star in any organization. His biggest
asset is his cult like fan base. As part of the ailing Jazz franchise he will
draw fans and sell merchandise. There are thousands of fans in Utah Valley
willing to purchase tickets and scream like lunatics for the opportunity to see
Jimmer lobbing half court shots. From jersey sales to the "Get Jimmered"
ticket sales promotional, Utah is where he should land.
After all of this he is going to Chicago - Shows what we know.
