    Just looking at the state rankings after tonight's game. Has Wasatch Academy beaten a single 5A team this year? Until they actually prove they can beat quality 5A teams on a regular basis, or ever, they should not be ranked above them.

    I imagine 5A teams are lining up to play WA, they have so much to gain.

    Alta and LP both lose. That means PG or Copper Hills should win it.

    @aubrey1

    Have you not seen the schedule that WA has gone through this year?? they went to the same tounament that Lone Peak and others went to at the start of the year, where they beat up on some top ranked teams nationally, they also did the same thing again up in Alaska losing only one of those games by 1 point. They've done far more that what is needed to prove that they deserve to be ranked above a lot of the 4 and 5A schools in utah

    I have a good friend running tourneys next year, I talked to him this weekend about Wasatch Academy.

    Wasatch Academy has been invited to play in two Utah tourneys in 2014-15. One was declined due to finals week conflicting with the dates. The other is over Christmas break and involves 16 teams from Utah all from the 3A, 4A, and 5A level.

    If Wasatch Academy wants to prove they "belong" in the 4A and 5A talk, they have a chance to do so if they accept the invite over Christmas break next year. There are so many articles where people are saying "nobody will play them" but that is not true. We will see if they accept the Utah tourney invite, because according to my friend the invite has been extended.
