The Utes will have to play at a level they haven't reached yet this season to beat UCLA, but I wouldn't count it out.

Winning on the road in the PAC is not easy, obviously, but once a young team gets a taste of having all the elements lined up against them, and they still prevail, there's a mental step up that has been accomplished, a confidence that with the right focus and effort, there's no reason why you can't win games on the road.

The difference between road success in the NBA and in college is significant, and it boils down to experience, which this Utah team is quickly racking up. I'm not expecting a win, but I'm definitely expecting this team to have a reasonable shot at victory, in the 2nd half.

Man, it's fun watching a team rise above their collective skills and experiences to become something greater than the sum of their individual skills. Credit to Coach K and staff, and to the players, for buying in and having faith in the system, and in each other.

Considering byu fans said we had a 0 percent chance of beating ucla a few weeks, lets just say I like our chances!

Some brackets show Utah in the dance already.

Win tomorrow and we will be in the projections from just about everyone.

Epsn just showed Arizonas remaining schedule and percent chance of winning each game

Their lowest of the rest of the season?

    48% at Utah.

Espn says Utah is favored to beat Arizona

I love this team and our PAC 12 membership!

It won't be easy, but a win in West Wood would be HUGE.

    Go Utes!

The Utes got a huge injection of badly needed confidence to win on the road after their last victory at USC. That monkey is now off their back so I'm sure the Bruins are in for a battle! Despite their much maligned start of season OOC schedule, I think these Utes are quite good...really good! And they maybe peaking at the right time.

Good luck at the Bruins house, Utes! Likewise to my Cougs and the Aggies!

    @Chris B or SEC fan I can't
The Pac is weak as evidenced by so called ranked teams losing and dropping out of the rankings like a rock i.e. Colo. Oregon. Zona is an average team, they'll be out of the top ten soon. But keep spinning that big boy conference mumbo jumbo. Gonzaga could easily compete and beat any Pac team as could any top 3 WCC team

I'd over-look UCLA too, since it's a road game against someone that isn't in last place. Also, the only way you're beating Arizona is because their main guy is injured. That's how ASU won last night plain and simple. Arizona isn't the team they were before the California game.

Byu fans are flocking to news about ute basketball, since we are the only team alive for at large berth in the big dance.

Some projections already have Utah in

Number that show byu in after latest loss:

    Zero!

A team with a 100+ RPI, which is where the Utes will finish, has absolutely NO CHANCE for an at-large NCAA invite.

    @ jarka-rus

The overall quality of the PAC is excellent. Not many highly ranked teams, but there is a reason the PAC-12 is concidered one of the three best conferences in the country....
