Somebody figure out this team and let the rest of us know!
Great win Jazz. So proud of to be a Jazz fan.
We wanted that win tonight so we went after it. It shows that we have not
matured as a team.We have not learned to say NO to the work cant. We have
it within ourselves to work harder and smarter during the few minutes each
player has to show his stuff on every opportunity he gets to play. Thats our
payback for the hard earned big bucks we pay you. Thanks for a great
win, now, please do it more often.
A great feel good win for the team and fans but in reality they're still a
long ways away from where they want to be. Baby steps sometimes are painful to
endure when so many fans wants success now. Perhaps the Jimmer can help some?
He can at least help fill more seats at the Energy Solutions arena I think and
that's a great thing!
Very good effort by the Jazz. They should be congratulated as the same for
Coach Corbin. However, I have read various articles on the internet about the
Heat. The gist is that they don't care about the regular season. They feel
that they are good enough to turn it on when it really matters. It would appear
to be so. A number of writers have stated that it is too easy to get into the
playoffs. There are 16 teams. In baseball, it is 8 and in the NFL, it is
"Surprisingly, Utah took a 14-point first-quarter lead and controlled the
momentum for most of the night, even fending off a late-game surge by a Heat
team that had a shockingly subpar game from its Big Three."---------------------I'm very happy the Jazz won this game.
I wish it had more to do with them and less to do with the "subpar"
performance mentioned above. But, as teams like the current Jazz must
remind themselves less frequently than they'd like, "a win is a
win."There is another saying that I hope is said more frequently
in the future, "winning can be habit forming."
Please resign Marvin Williams! It seems like he likes it here and he is
deserving of a contract. On a serious note something is up with
Gordon. He seems "not himself", just by his body language I sure hope
everything is okay.
You live by the three and you die by the three....Last night they were
falling....Best player on the court last night wasn't making or taking a
lot of shots...Gordon Hayward only scored 9 points, but he grabbed 9 boards, had
11 assists, and made 3 steals, while playing some lock-down defense....
Why can't we keep Marvin? What's wrong with having a veteran player
within the young ranks? He's not old! Keep Marvin!!!Go
Jazzboys! GREAT win!!!!
Maybe part of the sub play had to do with the extra hard defense played by the
Jazz. A great win. I wish I would have been in state to see it rather than
just watching the score change on the lap top. You know you can do it Jazz now
just go out and do it! There are some of us who do believe.,
The game falls into that old category that "on any given night" kind of
win. But a win against the champs has to feel good for everyone on the team. I
think Marvin is earning a spot on this team beyond this year. The Jazz will rise
again and beat good teams because they are that good, and not because the other
team took us for granted, or took the night off. Keep it up Jazz.
Very decent of you Americanvet! Calling out Marvin when you have been such a
critic. All of the other Marvin molesters are silent right now, it seems they
only chip in when its negative. I think this team has potential. Corbin has also
developed into a pretty versatile coach, he isn't afraid of sitting a
starter in the forth quarter, and seems to come up with a different five every
night. Kanter didn't score much in that game, but he fought hard to keep
some of their bigs off the boards. He was working so hard boxing out that he
couldn't even grab the board. I thought the birdman was going to start
swinging at him.
You're spot on fortydam. I was probably Williams harshest critic last year.
This year with the other veterans sent away Marvin has seemed to relish his new
role as a team leader. I have actually mentioned a few times this year already
that Marvin has turned things around and it is worth trying to resign him next
year if the price is right.
