The amnesty bill Hatch helped pass in the Senate is LONG on giveaways to illegal
trespassers, and SHORT on any enforcement. It basically counts on
Barack to enforce the laws.We ALREADY have knowledge that Barack has
no intention whatsoever of enforcing ANY law he doesn't like.Hatch was wrong to support amnesty (yes, thats' what it is even though
they don't like to call it that).Hopefully, the peoples'
voices will be heard and we can stop amnesty in the House of Representatives.
Amnesty is a failed policy. Obama won't enforce any part of an enforcement
law. We don't have de facto amnesty, we have de facto lack of enforcement.
I'm so sad I voted for the man. If we go ahead with this, our workers will
loose out (come on unions what are you thinking?), our illegals have no idea of
democracy and capitalism (as indicated by a poll). No other country allows
another nation to literally take over their country. Those who have done it
legally (and I'm one - but now a citizen) should be in front of the line
and until they are all taken care of and the fence is secure then we'll
talk about legality.
How sad to read the comments here:I would like to remind you of
Jesus words:Matthew 25: 33-40"He will place the sheep on
his right and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to those on his
right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you
gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed
me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you
visited me.’Then the righteous* will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when
did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we
see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you
ill or in prison, and visit you?. And the king will say to them in reply,
‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of
mine, you did for me.’ "May the Holy Ghost warm up your
hearts.Peace my brothers.
Once again Orrin Hatch talks conservative when here in Utah, and brags about his
seniority and clout. But, as soon as he gets back to DC he will again
become invisible, except for media releases and self-serving reports to
constituents. Where was he when our JUNIOR Senator, Mike Lee, and Ted Cruz were
working through the night to stop wreckless spending.Sorry, Orrin,
you were right when you ran against your predecessor and blasted HIS lengthy
stay in the Senate.Utah is being poorly served, if at all, by our
Senior Senator who has demonstrably done almost nothing effective to stop, or
even slow down Obama's destruction of our country.
Hatch needs to go.
“We can’t be stupid about this,” Hatch said.“Everybody knows we’re not going to push 13 million people out of
the country,” the senator said.It is easy to take a hard stand
based on black and white principle. It is quite another to actually deal with a
problem. As Hatch correctly stated, the US cannot deport 13 million
people. So, it is time to deal with reality.Lets take 2
scenarios1 - 19 year old sneaks across the boarder in May to pick
lettuce and is caught in June.2 - 53 year old came across the border 35
years ago to pick lettuce and is still here. He has a wife, house, 2
cars, teenage kids and owns a roofing company.Using logic and common
sense, tell me that you treat these 2 cases the same.Remember, the
challenge included the use of LOGIC and Common Sense.Course of
I am so disappointed in some of these comments. Have they not read in
Deuteronomy where God ordered the destruction of every man, woman, child and
beast who were inhabiting the promised land without His permission?Sorry,
I just had to throw that in.In all seriousness, Hatch is part of the
problem. We have laws on the books that they have not enforced. They created
this problem. Let's say we have 12 million drug dealers. Would the solution
be to give them amnesty because there are too many of them? Of course not.But we must enforce the very laws about unlawful presence rather than pander
to them and enforce the laws only upon the violent criminals. And the
immigration appeals process needs to be tightened up and shortened. We should
not consider whether the illegal alien has a job or learned English or sired
children. Simply present your valid papers or be deported post haste.Only
simply and swift deportation will do it. And we won't need to deport 12
million; they will go home on their own once they see our resolve.
There is a method to the madness. It's called Syrian law.
If he puts enough makeup on it his AMNESTY bill won't look so bad.
