No Love for John Wall?
Kyle Korver really?
I'm pulling for him, but I doubt he'll make the team....Hayward's
forte is like the old expression about being a jack of all trades but a master
of none....He's good at a lot of things, but not outstanding at
anything...This team will have people at every position who are outstanding at
that position....Gordon's only hope would be if Coach K elected to keep a
player who is versatile.
This is really a bizarre season for the Jazz. It is all about development and
rightfully so. However, the NBA definitely has to do something about the
"race to the bottom" for draft choices. On Monday, the Kings will come
to town with a possible draft choice hinging on the outcome. In the minds of
both camps, both teams have to lose. After all, the Jazz are only one game
behind the Kings. The problem now is becoming that the Eastern Conference is
pathetic. With LeBron James, it is the Disney tale of "Hi Ho" with the
seven little workers and one tall individual. There are already four teams
challenging the Jazz for low supremacy.
Reading the list of potential players is incredible! It would really be an
accomplishment to make this team for Heyward. It is always fun to watch the
gold medal game in the Olympics due to amount of talent on the floor.
Tell Rudy if it wasn't for the USA, he'd be speaking German.
Looking at the SG lineup I believe he will make the team. While it may be true
that he's a jack of all trades master of none, that sort of thing can be
valuable in the right dose. I think he makes the team before Beal and maybe
Korver, although Korver adds great shooting to space the floor.
