'Yes' gets 700 enthusiastic couples married in a couple days in Utah,
while the governor nervously stands by trying to prevent it.
I think it's one of those things where you would feel like ya didn't
On different times Jesus declared "...I seek not mine own will, but the will
of the Father..."(John 5:30). How fitting that His Mother Mary would also
do the will of the Father. Joseph too did the will of God. It has been said
that the one true thing that we can give God is to do His will.
Doing the will of the Father is the point. Mary did. Joseph did. Christ did.
Now, millions stomp on God with their actions. They do their own will, ignoring
He who gave them agency and opportunity. Mary respected God. Joseph respected
God. Christ respected His father. We should do the same. "Not my will,
but thine be done." Few believe it. Even fewer live it. Read any newspaper
to see how many think that they have put something over on God, because this
day, they have set aside his purposes and moved forward with their own will.God still loves us all, but the chasm between the Father and His
children is ever widening as many chase after their appetites and passions and
forget humble Mary, noble Joseph, and sinless Christ who set aside their own
desires to be of service to others.

article and quite possibly the entire Christmas season.
