Best wishes in your final days buddy. From another proud PAC 12 ute!
A very good story... We will all end our life here at some point but 42 seems
way too early... Miller really sounds like a great guy and the things that
Oliver and their children are doing speaks volumes about what type of people
they are... I lost a brother at age 42 and that was 35 years ago... I still
carry that loss with me today... If anyone has the information on how an out of
towner can donate to this end of life fund, please post it. Thanks.
Heartbreaking to see such athletes once so inspirationally athletic on the
playing field succumb to illness that destroys their bodies. The great ones
become even more inspirational when they don't let the illness take their
minds and spirits. Steve Gleason, Lou Gehrig and Jimmy V (although known for
coaching instead of playing) immediately come to mind as perfect examples.
Thanks for this story, Amy. May peace be with Bronzell.
Great story. Wasn't Luther Ellis is some trouble a few years back and made
it back to Utah as well? Life seems pretty tough for these guys once they finish
their football careers. Wish them the best of luck and all the health in the
Wonderful story. Both sad and happy. Special perks to his ex-wife for making
the end comfortable. Her family will be blessed for this act of compassion.
Mr. Miller, I have always respected you. After 25 years of being a season ticket
holder, if I were to list my top 10 memories of football moments, I am sure that
the hit and fumble recovery with you and Luther to end the 94 BYU game would be
right in there. You not only have a legacy of family who love you, but also a
legacy of a family of Utah fans who love and respect you. You are in my
prayers.All the best!
Amazing display of optimism and courage displayed by this great young man. At
42 he's still very young to be going through this but even more amazing is
the amount of people he has touched with his positive outlook on life. Thanks
for sharing! Judging from his outlook, it sounds like he's got a perfect
understanding of the Lord's plan of eternal happiness. Christ has won the
victory over death and the grave! Thus, death is now only a necessary stepping
stone to the next phase of our eternal progression towards eternal life and
exaltation!God's blessings be to you and yours, Mr. Miller!
May His peace continue to surround you now and always! Thanks for lifting my
soul upward today!
You are an inspiration and we are so fortunate to have you as part of a
wonderful Utah tradition. God bless you.
