I am an atheist and I absolutely love the Piano Guys because their musical
mashup's are so beautiful. Good music transcends all belief systems. I was
able to see them in concert and they were just delightful. It's too bad
that the ticket prices are so high because I would love to see them in person
I was able to see Jon in concert in Vernal a few years ago, kind of before the
Piano Guys era, and I loved it. I would not be able to afford to go to any of
the concerts due to the ticket prices, so I enjoy watching them on YouTube. I
love it when Alex Boye joins them, too. Men of good standards and ethics, and SO
talented! Thank you for sharing this with the world. We need more of this. God
Just in case any of the Piano guys are reading these comments you should notice
that ticket prices are keeping many of your fans from being able to attend on
the 21st.They are very high. even a bad seat at $27 is too much.Just a thought.
I absolutely adore this group and their heavenly music! I too would love to see
them in person someday if they ever plan to be in Virginia anytime soon. But
I've enjoyed hours of listening to them online on you tube. The tickets
are also a bit too pricey for poor folks like me but not beyond my ability to
pay for quality entertainment. God bless you folks! What a great example of
letting God be a partner in your endeavors! Thanks for the spiritual lift!
I disagree with the Piano Guys on this one and think they are missing the point.
I'm sorry. While beautiful, your covers of One Direction (among other
songs) are not changing the world. To assume that just because there are
miracles involved, that it must be for something "bigger than
themselves", is to completely underestimate just how much God loves each and
every "Piano Guy". The miracle here is that God is making it possible
for 4 middle aged guys to do something they love. That's quite an amazing
miracle to me. Don't get me wrong, their music is beautiful and does help
make the world a better place. But again, I think they are missing what the real
miracle is here, and it's not bigger than themselves.
I use my talents in the right way, too. By no means, however, does that infer
that it is always going to look like the 'locally approved' way.
In articles such as this, when reviewing musical talent, it would be nice (when
possible) to include a link to a sample of the music.
I agree with Jimmy James. You make a great point. What Nelson Mandela
accomplished was much bigger than himself. First of all the piano guys is just
entertainment. their most popular videos are all covers of famous artists such
as Taylor Swift, Usher, Coldplay, One Direction the list goes on and on of
artists you wouldn't exactly want your kids listening to. Unless of course
it was put into a classical format with no lyrics. They have found a great niche
in the entertainment industry that was not previously tapped into and they have
done a great job of it. But saying what has transpired is bigger than themselves
sounds a little more Kanye West like than humble.
Beautiful, so worth watching and listening to the video.
I absolutely love the Piano Guys, but something has changed with their concerts
since Sony took over. The last concert I went to was a Kingsbury Hall and after
they signed with Sony. Just not the same. Jon's father wasn't up
there doing hilarious stand up comedy, no back flip by Jon off a raised
platform. Just not the family show it used to be. Love you and your coworkers,
Jon. You are great people and doing much good in this world. The all time best
concert was at Red Butte. I loved the flash mob with the young musicians!
