Sad to think of all the costs this is going to be.

I would like to see an update on the conditions of the many critically injured vehicle occupants. Members of our family were in the long line-up of vehicles waiting for the road to reopen, and all of us are much concerned about the injured victims of the accident. We do pray for them.

Truly sorry to all involved. Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.

It would be interesting to know, however, if the truck had worn or bald tires. Then it would not be an accident, but negligence on part of the owner.

Again, I'd like an update on this sad story. We were once in an accident in which there was a drop off on a highway (excessive water exposure). Our front right tire came loose from the wheel when part of it was on the edge, causing the vehicle to go out of control, and then the other right tire came off the wheel too. We were so out of control we were headed right for an oncoming van, but were able to jerk to the right and skid off the road on the vehicle's side. We had purchased new expensive tires specifically for our trip. One can't assume that "good tires" will always behave as such. I hope the many people involved are recovering.
