    Guns are trouble.
A troubled person with a gun is the worst kind of deadly disaster.

The motive is clear, Publicity, notoriety, in all its forms. It could be a cry for help or anguish, political, religious, to set a new record for number of killed. But, it is certainly a "Look at me."
And we give them exactly what they wanted, fame, publicity.,, by the bucket load.
Al Qaeda? 9-11? I never heard the name before that day. We made the name. Better to have called them scum and cowards and never given their name the light of day.

We should 'shun' them. Not by law, the Constitution will forbid that. By acclaim, tradition, societal convention.

Write the stories of those lost, dreams crushed.

Never publish the name, the organization, the religion, or the political cause. Scatter their ashes, unmark the grave, erase them utterly. Make them NOT.

There is no mystery here. WE make the monsters, because we give them exactly what they set out to achieve.

It needs but one news organization to begin the avalanche, to publicly declare that they shall not participate in this vicious cycle. Set a precedent, set a policy. I do want and need to know,,,, not who, not their twisted why.

    Make them not.

His actions mimic a violent video game he was obsessed with. He went for maximum kill points and then took his own life because when someone kills you, they get all your accumulated points, and he wanted to keep the points he had 'earned', so he could win the game.

    We'll never know.

He just did what the voices in his head told him to.

and some so-called "safe" medications can have that as an adverse side effect.
