This man should be in prision but yet he his allowed to abuse the system
Wow, charges were brought over two years ago and there hasn't yet been a
preliminary hearing--and by the time the hearing is now scheduled to take place
it will be over two and a half years.I can't imagine the
prosecution would have been allowed to be the cause of such delay (that whole
constitutional right to a speedy trial thing) so as is all too often typical in
these cases, the defense has likely strung things out. Judges ought
to keep in mind that the concept of "justice delayed is justice denied"
applies to the justice sought be citizens who may have been wronged as well as
the accused looking to clear his/her name.
