Utah is going to have a tough game today without their QB. 2 years in a row without going bowling isn't going to sit well with the fan base!

And that's the difference... One school is out to prove it's significance against Washington State and the other against perennial power house Notre Dame...

    I love Freedom and Independence.

    Go Cougars.

If the Utes can't win at WSU, then they don't deserve a bowl game. I hope they make it to beat the Cougars twice in one season and keep bowl hopes alive.

BYU's game against ND is winnable and would be a high point for the season.

USU should win at home against CSU. The Rams are a better team this year than in past years, but not good enough to prevail against our Aggies!

Utah has to win out to qualify for a bowl game. They haven't been good on the road this season, however. We'll see what they can do with their backs against the wall, but I still think the clincher for them not being bowl eligible was the home loss to Arizona St two weeks ago.

I'm not too sure about BYU winning at Notre Dame, either. The injuries in the secondary might make the difference in this game. If Bronco emphasizes putting pressure on the QB, they can win. If he rushes 3 and goes max coverage, eventually the Notre Dame QB will find an open receiver and pick them apart. We've seen it far too often.

USU is the only win I'm confident about.

What's better than a cougar loss?

Two cougar losses in one day, with Utah delivering the cougar loss.

Just like we did to the other cougars, although these cougars are a better more prestigious opponent.

    Utah 37
    Power conference cougars 20

    Notre dame 27
    Non power conference cougars 17

    Cougars 0-2 I GUARANTEE it

Get ready for a double serving of crow byU fans.

If both cougars win I won't post on byu football articles for a month!

I will be posting all month

Washington state is a more formidable opponent than our former rivals whose seniors such as van noy and Hoffman went WINLESS in their entire careers against their rivals!

Takes a "special" program to go 0-4 against their rivals.

    Go Irish!

    Go utes!

Show you superiority over the lowly wanna be cougars.

It's official--two Cougar wins today. It has now been GUARANTEED.

The utes pass rush is the difference maker today. Wsu doesn't stand a chance in this game. As for notre dame byu, byu will finally get the national(beyond just lds) audience they think they have weekly.

"...in a region that just witnessed rare tornadoes striking the ground."

I lived in Indiana for several years. Tornadoes are not rare in the Hoosier state, but occur frequently.

    Good luck, Cougs.

    @Ironman,

You have to admit that tornados that destructive in November is rare.
