sadder that people consider a comedy show laced with swearing to be a legitimate
Thanks for publishing this article. I get the feeling that nobody cares about
profanity any more. When I was growing up, my father's profanity
embarrassed me, but I also fell into the trap of using it. My father cleaned up
his speech later in life and so did I. I once came across a little card that
says, "Ten Reasons Why I Swear." It was satirical; for example, the
first reason was: "Because it pleases my mother so much", but it was
very effective in demonstrating that profanity is only a weakness displaying
lack of self control. Kudos to Bill Cosby for calling out Jon Stewart instead of
just ignoring it as we usually do.
Another great deja vu with Bill Cosby. The left wing should listen a little more
carefully to what he is trying to tell them. The right wing could learn a bit as
well. Well done!

words over and over to describe just about everything. I think we're
