Certainly a rough day for all Utah fans everywhere. My best wishes to Travis
Wilson's recovery. On a positive note, thank goodness that the
medical personnel did their job and found this problem before it got any worse;
by the sound of it, had he played another game, the wrong hit could have been
life-threatening. As fun as sports are, it isn't worth losing
or messing your physical health over for the rest of your life.
We will win out, I am not worried there. Our defense has been outstanding and I
think shulz will be more than capable after facing Oregon. If we had no reason
to believe the future will be different it would be difficult to be
optimisticHowever, our recruiting has been much improved the last 4
years, and we are still playing with many Mwc recruits. On average the last
several years we have been middle of the PAC 12 in recruiting and that will show
on the field as those guys become juniors and seniors. In fact,
since our PAC 12 invite we have had higher stars AND head to head wins over byu
and usu. and actually utah's worst recruiting class the last 4 years is
better than byu and usu's best year. The future of football in
Utah, is Utah. And Utah only. Go utes!
I am a diehard Cougar fan but my thoughts and prayers go out to Travis Wilson
and his family. I wish him nothing but the best. It is a very sad day for Utah
football but I am very grateful that the medical staff caught this in time. Good
luck to the Utes against Washington State.
excuses are piling up too
Chris BKeep that spin cycle going, its all you got
@christinaThat was very "frantic and emotional". lol
That's it KW and fans, keep swinging. The problem is, that u keep swing for
the fence's instead of a base hit.....oh, sorry for using a term that u
can't relate to since u belong to "one sport u" and even that is
really in doubt. Man, I'm glad that. I don' root for a school that
just can't be competitive in many sports. Keep banging on that one key, it
really makes wonderful music!
>The future of football in Utah, is Utah. And Utah only. So,
you're saying that the future of football in Utah is consistent mediocrity,
inability to live up to local media (over)hype, and obsessive repetition of the
words "Pac-12" at every opportunity?Plastering Pac-12
stickers and signs on everything isn't gonna fix that, son.On
the other hand, every college football fan in the country already knows what
conference USC is in, so maybe Utah needs the stickers and signs.
