Lest we forget, one of the reasons Utah does well economically is our state
receives more federal money than it pays into the system. So, we aren't as
efficient as our leaders claim once that government "welfare" to our
state is removed.
That would be real good, IFThe Federal Government had the luxury to
received MORE money from the Global Community in taxes than it puts out.
The average Federal workers gets paid $130,000 or so double the private sector.
So far I think Utah public workers get about the same as the private sector. I
think they should get 5-10% less in return for job security and their pension
plans should not far surpass the private sector.
