'Kiddie deserts': Are urban areas a haven for the childless and a trap for the poor?

    There were and are a lot of times I find it a blessing to go places where there are no kids. Dining, especially. I lived much of my 20's in apartments blessedly child free.

    To "Hutterite" it is too bad you feel that way about kids.

    There is nothing better than coming home and having 1 or more of your kids come running up to you, excited that you are home.

    There are some places that children are not ready for, but children do bring joy into the world.

    Going to the local fast food place and watching your kids play can be fun. The Zoo and amusement parks take on a new life with kids in tow.

    I feel bad in many ways for those people that don't have kids or want kids, or even like kids.
