Despite the exaggerated fears about "domestic spying" this is the
operation that may very well detect and allow us to prevent future attacks, not
just from Islamic terrorists, but other potential adversaries.Build
it well, test thoroughly, then operate it wisely, and in obedience to the laws
that are intended to safeguard American citizens.I trust the NSA a
heck of a lot more than the IRS, although admittedly that is a very low bar to
surpass. And more than the BATFE, the TSA or even the FBI. And certainly more
than any member of Congress!
Hill Air Force Base has a field of solar panels used to generate electricity
for the base.Since this NSA site uses so much electricity, they
ought to ought to put solar panels on the roof of their facility and even on the
adjacent surrounding area. This would reduce cooling costs of the building and
produce electricity, both helping to ease the huge energy load this facility
puts on our grid.Less air pollution, conserving our natural
Sweet!Use the lowest bidder and spend millions more making it right.
That's the government way.But hey, it's not like the money is
important. There's more where that came from.
Am I the only one that envisioned Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation when I read
Quite frankly, I find this to be good news if it is true. This is a bad
operation -- fiscally, philosophically, etc.NSA Chief Gen. Keith
Alexander finally admitted publicly just last week that -- despite all the
buffalo-ing to keep superfunding the agency -- only "1 or 2" of the
alleged "54" foiled terrorist plots that they kept bragging about even
turned out to be something of "potential" interest to national security
or to have any connection to the draconian NSA domestic spynet they claim is so
critical. In other words, we're not getting *any* ROI
("return on investment") for our taxpayer money and our continually
eroded civil liberties.Admissions like that should give us all pause
... regardless of what short-term Federal dollar infusion opportunities our
local governments are eyeing.
These "Glitches" maybe God's way of telling you that this is evil
just like Obamacare.
@ Say NO to BO"Use the lowest bidder...."??? uh, when does
that ever happen?Because the government continually abuses its power
and trolls for our data without cause or warrant I hope the whole thing melts
"Issues such as these can arise in any project..."Actually
no....just on projects that are designed and/or constructed poorly.
