    All religion is fundamentally "nominal", and ought to be treated as such.

    Someday when non-believers are not marginalized by large segments of society (e.g., politics) religious practice may look a lot like Christmas – most people celebrate Christmas and even practice the spirit of kindness & giving it’s meant to convey, but very few people above the age of seven believe in Santa Claus.
