Utah WILL win by 3 and WILL win the Pac 12 south.Utah WILL go 8-4,
just like I've said since day 1.Utah 27UCLA 24Mark it DownGo Utes
It all comes down to recruiting. Why have we dominated byu and usu
over the last decade? We on average have had better recruiting
classes(yes, higher average stars). This typically produces better teams.
Coaching is another big element, which I'm more than happy with in
Whitthigham. Why have we struggled in the Pac 12.Again -
recruiting. As improved as our recruiting has been in recent years,
we still have a below average recruiting in the Pac 12.But each year
since our Pac 12 invitation, our recruiting has improved, and it will continue
to do so until we're getting average recruits with most of the Pac 12(no, I
didn't say with USC, UCLA, and Oregon)Go Utes!Pac
wow, playing at res is about as scary as a box of kittens.its ok
utes, every power conference has its basement dwellers. you know, those
"sort of" members that fill a slot for in conference games that are a
step above a bye week.ute seniors 1-1 vs USU and lucky to have
that.I hope UCLA isn't looking past the utes this thursday, 2
weeks ago whhile talking to the fans, they could have cared less about this
game.I look to UCLA to roll in this one.
What I think is funny that even though Ute's have a 18-4 against BYU and
USU, that just shows how bad the state of Utah is at football. The last two
seasons have not been good for the Ute's. The football programs in this
state will never be great, good coaches will always use the state of Utah as a
good way to move onto better programs. Urban Myer, Gary Anderson were able to do
great things with average players but that does not last. The coaches that we
currently have are all just average and that is how all programs in this state
will be, is just average. USC has shown that you can have high ranked recruites
and players but with an average coach you will just be an average team.
An error here. Utah beat Washington State 49-6 at home not 38-28. The road win
was a close contest @ WSU, and that score is listed correctly, as are all others
in this chart.
I hope you right Chris B. but I can't mark it down when your right 1/4 of
the time dude.
@IfelOfasofaThe d news did not include the record of the Utes record at
their "home away from home", Lavel Edwards Stadium. If they did you
would see they are 4-2 at LES the last 10 years.
Granted, the Utes let a good opportunity slip away against OSU this year and I
cannot really explain Colorado 2011. The fact remains the U is still acclamating
to the Pac 12. The improvement is happening and it will continue to happen.Utah will surprise some teams this year and have a good opportunity at home
this week. It is pretty easy to see the upward trajectory of the U. Utah has
already proved to be a pretty good this year (young but athletic db's
aside). So all the U detractors, honestly have to ask themselves, won't
Utah be better in 2014 and 2015? If that is the case the wins will come.
Yeah, Colorado was really intimidated by RES.
