A man of honor. His parents must be proud.
I love stories like this. Thanks for sharing it.
That employee should definitely be commended, as I'm certain he didn't
do it for the attention he received. But I'm also somewhat
saddened that a do-something-good-for-someone-else story like this is considered
so exceptional in our society. How much better the world would be if things like
this happened all the time... to the point of not being so newsworthy. But again, I'm glad this young man has been recognized for his good heart
and good deed. Hopefully, more people will now follow his example.
I can't stop the tears while reading this amazing story. A young man any
parent would be proud of. A courageous act of love. We need more stories like
this on a daily basis. You just made my day young man.
Great story! equally great was the act of the other customer who brought the
story to the attention of Dairy Queen.
"19-year-old Dairy Queen manager does good deed for blind man"---------------The first half of the headline tells you enough
about this kid to know he's exceptional. How many 19 year-olds
do you know who are responsible enough to be employed as a manager!!??Good on'ya Joey!! You're doing good and going places!
I really wish newspapers had more stories like these.
