Utah lawmaker proposes CPR training for barkeepers

    Knowing CPR is indeed a beneficial skill, but it should not be a "nanny state" legislative requirement imposed by some law. If, however, we need to make it a law, then:

    Why not a CPR requirement prior to getting a drivers license, or even graduating from high school, or before release of any prison inmates, or for anyone who registers to vote?

    Why not require CPR grads for every gym, playground, bus driver, tire shop employee and newspaper writer?
