Indications are that the Obama Administration would rather not talk about it.The State Dept employees are back at work after several months of PAID leave,
all employees who have any information are literally sworn to secrecy.Who
knows? The truth of the matter may sound very much like the Iran-Contra Affair.
And the Democrats can' have that.We thought the 2012 election was the
threat. They dodged that bullet. Now, can they prove flexible enough to keep it
out of the 2014 midterms? Or better yet, Hillary's bid for the White
House.Stay tuned. So far the wall is holding.
We have leaders who can't come clean with the American people. Is this how an employee treats the boss?
This tragic incident has never been an election changing incident. Not exactly a
trillion Dollar War that ruined the economy. That one will effect elections for
another twenty years.
And yet the Obama administration knows all about what is happening in Syria.
A year later and the consperecy theories still hold no water.
Where is a person such as Oliver North when we need him to be hung out to dry?
Oh, that is right, the military were not involved as they weren't allowed
to do anything in this case. The biggest question that they will
never answer in this administration is "Why was the United States of
America's Ambassador to Libya even in Benghazi during the alert status of
all middle eastern embassies during the 9/11 commemoration in those
countries?" Why was he in the least secure of all the cities in Libya
without a force to protect him? If the CIA personnel were just a couple of
blocks away, why were they not at his site protecting him with their
capabilities? Was the meeting so secret that the CIA didn't even know the
Ambassador was having discussions, meetings, making arrangements or just being
there having breakfast with a piece of bread and orange juice? If
the Ambassador knew his meeting was approaching and he requested more security
systems and personnel in the middle of August 2012, why was he not granted some
protection 2 weeks later? If that meeting was so necessary, why was
it on 9/11?
one vote, from 2003-2013 the average cost per year for Iraq and Afghanistan
was $85B. the most in a single year was $190B. considering our deficit jumped
from ~$250B in 2008 to $1.4T in 2009(of which only $130B belonged to Iraq and
Afghanistan in 2009, mostly Afghanistan) I would like to know how something that
cost less than one tenth of the deficit ruined the economy? The wars did not
ruin the econonmy, the main factor was subprime lending and the burst of the
housing bubble, which in turn, rocked the financial sector.
@JWBThere ought to be a judicial watch looking into these circumstances,
right?Your questions are very valid and point to a gun running program.
spring streetMaybe the conspiracy theories hold no water, but there
are still many unanswered questions as JWB pointed out. This issue should not
go away until all the questions are in fact answered.
Heck, we've never got any explanations 157 years after the MM Massacre.
Don't hold your breath on Benghazi.
So, if the official verdict turns out to be that "Incompetence abounded"
here, will my post of the same conclusion be allowed?
