Landline phones are dropping and so are landline faxes. We have been using
FaxPipe which is a fax service out of Provo that delivers the faxes right to our
email. Money savings are everywhere if you take the time to look.
Good point Mr. Moots; everything is becoming wire-less and 'in the
cloud'.What about satellite phones. Right now they are more
expensive but I bet they become more common in the coming years. They would be
more reliable than the typical cell phones.
Haven't had a land line in 10 years and don't miss it at all. A dusty
old relic of the past. The ONLY reason I could see to have one is if you use
QWEST Connect for your internet service but that isn't a requirement
Hey Moots, what's a fax?
The only argument I could make to keep and landline (full disclosure I
don't have one either) is for 911. Address is immediately known so help
can be dispatched if the requester is somehow incapable of speaking.
id love to have kept my land line but the price got to almost 60 dollars so we
dropped it.they increase price and give worse service.
