I like the snorkel bob review of this place.
Creation of this tourist destination was a brilliant move by the LDS Church to
provide jobs and opportunity for BYU-Hawaii students and the church in an
otherwise remote part of the island. There are clearly some excellent lessons
here for how universities can help students pay for school in an era of
declining economic support from the states and federal government.
Happy anniversary. I stopped at the PCC on a trip to Oahu and found it
fascinating, second only to the Koko Crater Railway Trail.
It's the best thing in the islands.
