Surprise Surprise. This is what happens when the Voters do not understand
economics and capitalism. They voted for a socialist community organizer who
could read a teleprompter. No one cared about his past or his political views.
The country was more concerned about haveing an African American President than
a qualified, experienced, leader who could acutally lead, inspire and create
opportunity. Unfortunatly this faux economony that the President has created
will implode before he leaves office. We will need all the help we can get.
Does anyone really believe that this "affordable" care act will be a
success? No one even read the document before signing it into law. We are
still trying to figure out what it means. It is clearly an attempt
to socialize medicine by bringing about a single payer (the US government). We
want the bankrupt US government running medicine? Uhhhh....NO.
Aetna did its due diligence State by State to determine financial viability
before jumping on board to support this monstrous ACA, something the Feds never
did, along w/ those who blindly support the Feds-blind leading the blind.
Medicare has already started limiting health care services to the elderly to
control costs, though premiums continue to rise for them.
Despite the "trainwreck" that this law is delivering in terms of
declining healthcare at increased costs, it is a resounding success in the eyes
of the Obama administration. It has destroyed the foundation of our
healthcare delivery and payment system. And, thus left the field open for
government run "single payer" to "solve the problem" which will
inevitably make things even worse. Not a darn thing in this law was
ever intended to increase the number of doctors, nurses or hospitals, only to
destroy personal choice, personal responsibility, and the ability of medical
professionals to offer options that patients might want.Welcome to
socialist medicine, comrades.
"For the vast majority of Americans," National Journal reported,
"premium prices will be higher in the individual exchange than what
they're currently paying for employer-sponsored benefits". ---this has
to be the stupidest comment I have ever read. Currently private plans cost about
three times as much as employees pay for employer-sponsored plans. The fact that
they will still cost more, but no indication of how much more, is worthless.
What questions? The Dear Leader designed this train wreck to be expensive. He
has stated on more than one occasion that he wants a one-payer system: the
goobermint. He deliberately made sure it would be so expensive that he'd
get his way. This is just more of his socialist agenda.
Bring on the dual system! Government healthcare with no premiums. All
citizens, everyone from the President down to the homeless lady sleeping at the
park get healthcare for a basic list of services. Anyone wanting further care
can purchase insurance. For that I would pay greater taxes -- to just
do away with premiums, co-pays and medical bills.
