I was right.Aggies were wrong.Where are you guys who
If these are the best officials the Big 12 has then please BYU stay from the Big
Christoph B,I am one of the Cougar faithful that was rooting for the
Aggies!!! It was a hard fought game on both sides and the Utes won!!!
Congrats!!! Really looking forward to our games against both Utah and USU!!! I
think BYU has a much better team then last year and will give both schools
trouble and BYU will prevail in both games but time will tell!!!Go
downunder: byu fans complaining about the refs. Wow, that's new. If you
had been at RES last night, you could have thrown trash at them...a byu
trademark.Reno Cougs Fan 68: The local media does a good job of
putting the expectations of byu fans in the stratosphere every year and even
more now with the independence experiment. The hype generates ticket sales
when, frankly, there isn't much to cheer about from a competition
standpoint (this year an exception but 2014 looks worse than 2011). At any
rate, maybe you should tone it down a notch until you see how your cougs do
against Texas. Virginia is one small step up from bottom of the MWC.
MyPerspectiveThe local media does a good job of putting the
expectations of Utah fans in the stratosphere every year and even more now with
the PAC experiment.Utah fans are just too blind to see it.Remember just a year ago when Utah was supposed to challenge national
championship contender USC for the PAC south?Yes, it's funny
how Utah fans conveniently forget such little details about themselves in their
never-ending BYU-hating attacks.
That was no 'chop block', a lousy call mentioned by the commentators.
I for one am glad that all three FBS teams in Utah are competitive. It makes
things a lot more interesting.
talkinsportsYep, we remember that Utah was supposed to challenge for the
Pac-12 South (not NC as you suggest). It turned out to be a tough season where
expectations of being in an elite conference were aligned with reality. We move
forward from there. You need to find someone else to write your
material. Though I am flattered, I prefer that you not steal my comments and
twist them to fit the bizarre world in which you live. As for
"byu-hating attacks" I invite you to read the comments on this thread
from the friends of your ilk. USU fans have more class about their loss that
byu fans have regarding a game they didn't play.
TDS fans will always struggle with a Utes victory, it's been ingrained
since birth. Which is fine. I also urge my kids to Choose The Red. What I
take issue with, are the poorly concocted excuses that are thrown around (i.e.,
blaming it on luck, poor officiating, leg cramps, "should have been our
victory if not for all the turnovers" etc., etc., etc.) in vain attempts to
write off said Utes' victories. Because let's face it, losing Kenneth
Scott super early in the game was a crushing blow to our team as well. I was
excited for him to test the Aggie DB's. (Scott will be back next year.)Fact of the matter is, Utah won the game. No if's, and's, or
but's. USU was a strong opponent. It was a much anticipated contest,
which unfortunately for TDS fans, makes the game against Virginia on the road,
pale in comparison. Best of luck against the Cavaliers. And try to get over
our victory against the Aggs, as well as the past three consecutive defeats to
the U. GO UTES
MyPerspective writes: USU fans have more class about their loss that byu fans

BYU fan needs to concentrate on his own team and not get so worked up about the
Utes until Sept. 21st.
