    If nothing else, I'd be able to reach stuff on the top shelf better.

    I'll skip the suggestion to wear high heels. Best advice I ever got for sensible shopping: shop alone, don't shop if you're hungry or emotionally upset, and buy only things on a shopping list that you prepared long before you enter a store.

    Shopping is an expensive entertainment. I can see how the discomfort can keep your mind from desire. So lesson learned, If she has high heels nothing or no one is desirable more than taking off those shoes.

    Wearing high heels seems to indicate little experience, maturity or common sense, without which shopping could be disastrous.

    Well, I've never worn them, but they look painful. Maybe the pain will make you hurry up and not spend money on things you don't need.
